The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) is a convert! The AIS Canberra has just had Enduroturf Supreme artificial grass installed in a large section of the running / athletics track providing a lush, green, maintenance free environment for both the casual user and dedicated sportsperson. "We've had a lot of problems with drainage and getting the grass grow with so much foot traffic, so we thought synthetic grass was a viable option and we just love it, I wish we could afford to do the entire arena" said an AIS spokesperson.Eco-lush synthetic lawns, ACT agent for Enduroturf Pty Ltd, won the lucractive contract to install 1552m2 of synthetic grass at the running track. "We have worked really hard to educate the government agencies within the ACT region, on the benefits of synthetic grass and they are starting to accept the inevitable" says Julia Bosel, Managing Director Eco-Lush synthetic lawns. 'One of the main requirements within the government agencies is Australian made products.
