Long lasting, hard wearing, low maintenance, and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.  Fake grass is fast becoming the preferred choice of lawn for  many home owners.

Typically the synthetic lawn fibres are about  40mm  long (from base to tip), the grass is made from a blend of polyethylene-polypropylene, which is then woven into a mat-like backing (much like that of a carpet).  The pile is multiple shades of green, giving the lawn additional texture, just as you would find in any natural lawn.  The fibres are then filled with a sand and rubber combination so that even when you step onto it, it can be very difficult to tell the difference.
